Dr. Juan Miguel Rodríguez Roiz, from the Samitiersports Team and traumatologist specialising in hip and knee surgery at Quirónsalud Badalona Hospital, has been awarded a prestigious fellowship by the European Hip Society (EHS), a scientific body that represents and organises all the European societies dedicated to the treatment of hip pathology.
It should be noted that this fellowship is only awarded to two hip surgeons each year, and is based on a competition of credentials of participants from all over Europe. This recognition has allowed Dr. Rodríguez Roiz to carry out a training stay in the best hospitals in Ireland, in Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork.
