Prosthetics and Reconstructive Surgery Unit

The Prosthetics and Reconstructive Surgery Unit at Samitiersports is staffed by highly specialised surgeons with specific training in the management of advanced joint conditions using state-of-the-art prosthetic replacement techniques. Prosthetic surgery is a fundamental tool for restoring function and significantly improving our patients’ quality of life. The team’s extensive experience enables us to confidently undertake both primary procedures and revision surgery, as well as the treatment of complex complications, including prosthetic loosening or periprosthetic infection.

We also utilise navigation technology and robotic surgery for knee procedures, enabling precise planning, optimal implant positioning and greater customisation of each procedure, leading to better functional outcomes and a more predictable recovery.
