Hip arthroscopy

What is it?

Hip arthroscopy is a minimally invasive technique that allows intra-articular injuries to be treated via small incisions and under high-definition camera guidance. It is particularly suitable for treating femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), labral tears and other causes of pain in active patients. Its main advantage is the preservation of joint anatomy, with less surgical trauma, less post-operative pain and a faster recovery compared to open surgery, allowing for an early return to sport and work, restoring the biomechanics of the hip and improving the patient’s quality of life.

At Samitiersports, our specialists apply specific protocols for dynamic diagnosis, 3D planning and individualised rehabilitation aimed at a return to sport.
