Last Monday, Quirónsalud Badalona officially presented its new Rehabilitation Centre, a state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care across all stages of recovery.
The event was attended by the hospital’s Managing Director, Josep Lluís Vega, and Dr Javier Salguero, Director of Rehabilitation at Quirónsalud, both of whom highlighted the strategic importance of this new facility within the group’s care model—focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Also present was Dr Gonzalo Samitier, Head of the Traumatology Department at Quirónsalud Badalona and a leading specialist in sports surgery, underscoring the centre’s strong commitment to a multidisciplinary approach that seamlessly integrates traumatology, surgical care, and rehabilitation.
The new Rehabilitation Centre has been conceived as a versatile, multifunctional space, equipped to support patients in injury prevention programmes, post-surgical recovery, and rehabilitation following traffic accidents. Its advanced design and specialised resources enable tailored treatment pathways, optimising recovery times and ensuring a safe and effective return to daily activities and sport.
